Hoardle: The Abyss (the "App," "we," "us") is an iOS game published by BESSL Framework, an independent studio based in Seoul, Republic of Korea. This policy explains what the App collects, why, who processes it, and the rights you have. The App is designed to work without an account: there is no login, and we do not build a profile of you.

1. What we collect

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account. The App collects only the following, and only through third-party SDKs:

Advertising — Google AdMob (rewarded ads)

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA) and device information — collected only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
  • If you decline the ATT prompt or do not respond, ads are served in non-personalized mode and the IDFA is not used.

Analytics — Firebase Analytics

  • Vendor identifier (IDFV) — an Apple-provided identifier scoped to our apps on your device, not linked to your real-world identity.
  • Anonymous in-app events: game runs, banking actions, CHOMP events, and purchases. These show us how the game is played so we can improve it.

Purchases — Apple StoreKit

  • In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation that a purchase occurred, to unlock content, but we never see or store your payment card, Apple ID, or billing details.

Leaderboard — Apple Game Center

  • If you are signed in to Game Center, the game submits a single score — your banked depth — to an Apple Game Center leaderboard so you can compare it with other players. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and the game submits no other information. If you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is submitted.

On-device data (stored only on your device)

  • Your Vault, game records, and entitlements (what you have unlocked) are stored locally on your device. Apart from the single banked-depth score submitted to Game Center above, they are not uploaded to us and do not leave your device — except through your own iCloud or device backup, which is controlled by Apple and your settings.

2. Why we collect it

  • To show rewarded advertising, which funds a free game (AdMob).
  • To understand how the game is played, and to fix and improve it (Firebase Analytics).
  • To deliver and restore your in-app purchases (StoreKit).
  • To submit your banked depth to the leaderboard, if you use Game Center (Apple).
  • To save your progress on your device (local storage).

We do not use this data for any purpose beyond the above. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app tracking beyond serving the ads described here.

3. Who processes your data (third parties)

The App relies on two providers. Your data is handled under their own privacy policies:

We run no servers of our own that store your personal data, and we do not transfer data to any party other than the processors above.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK — GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Your consent for personalized advertising and the associated advertising identifier, given through the ATT prompt and Google's consent flow. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6).
  • Our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the App through anonymous, aggregate analytics.
  • The necessity of processing to perform an in-app purchase you request.

5. Retention

  • On-device data (Vault, records, entitlements) remains until you delete the App or clear its data.
  • Analytics events are retained by Google for the period set in our Firebase configuration, then deleted or aggregated under Google's data-retention controls.
  • We keep no separate copy of your data on our own systems.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Tracking (ATT): turn tracking on or off any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Turning it off serves only non-personalized ads.
  • Reset advertising identifier: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking / Apple Advertising.
  • Delete your data: delete the App to remove all on-device data. Because we store nothing on our own servers that identifies you, deleting the App erases the data we could otherwise access.
  • GDPR rights (EEA / UK): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.
  • CCPA / CPRA rights (California): to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell your personal information, and we do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad serving you consent to via ATT.
  • Korea (Personal Information Protection Act): the rights to access, correct, delete, and suspend processing of your personal information.

To exercise any right, or to ask a question, contact us at bessl.framework@gmail.com. Because the App holds no account, we may ask you to identify the relevant device so we can act on your request.

7. Children

Hoardle: The Abyss is not directed to children. It is a general-audience game and is not intended for, or targeted at, children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and advertising is served in a non-child-directed context. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Hoardle: The Abyss(이하 "본 앱")는 대한민국 서울에 기반한 1인 스튜디오 BESSL Framework가 제공하는 iOS 게임입니다. 본 방침은 본 앱이 무엇을, 왜 수집하며, 누가 처리하고, 이용자가 어떤 권리를 갖는지 설명합니다. 본 앱은 계정 없이 동작하도록 설계되었으며, 로그인이 없고, 이용자 프로필을 별도로 만들지 않습니다.

1. 수집하는 정보

본 앱은 이름, 이메일, 전화번호, 계정을 요구하지 않습니다. 아래 정보만을, 그리고 오직 제3자 SDK를 통해서만 수집합니다.

광고 — Google AdMob (리워드 광고)

  • 광고 식별자(IDFA)와 기기 정보 — Apple의 앱 추적 투명성(ATT) 동의를 하신 경우에만 수집됩니다.
  • ATT에 동의하지 않거나 응답하지 않으시면 광고는 비개인화(non-personalized) 방식으로 제공되며 IDFA는 사용되지 않습니다.

분석 — Firebase Analytics

  • 벤더 식별자(IDFV) — Apple이 제공하는, 이용자 실신원과 연결되지 않는 기기 단위 식별자입니다.
  • 익명 인앱 이벤트: 게임 런, 뱅킹 동작, CHOMP 이벤트, 구매. 게임 개선을 위한 이용 방식 파악에 사용됩니다.

구매 — Apple StoreKit

  • 인앱 구매는 전적으로 Apple이 처리합니다. 콘텐츠 잠금 해제를 위해 구매 완료 사실만 전달받으며, 결제 카드·Apple ID·청구 정보는 열람하거나 저장하지 않습니다.

리더보드 — Apple Game Center

  • Game Center에 로그인되어 있으면, 다른 플레이어와 비교할 수 있도록 게임이 단일 점수(뱅킹 깊이)를 Apple Game Center 리더보드에 제출합니다. 이는 Apple의 개인정보 처리방침에 따라 Apple이 처리하며, 그 외 정보는 제출하지 않습니다. Game Center에 로그인되어 있지 않으면 아무것도 제출되지 않습니다.

기기 내 저장 정보 (이용자 기기에만 저장)

  • Vault, 게임 기록, 보유 권한(entitlement)은 이용자 기기에 로컬로 저장됩니다. 위에서 설명한 뱅킹 깊이 점수 한 건을 Game Center에 제출하는 경우를 제외하고 당사로 업로드되지 않으며, Apple과 이용자 설정이 관리하는 iCloud·기기 백업을 제외하고는 기기를 벗어나지 않습니다.

2. 수집·이용 목적

  • 무료 게임을 운영하기 위한 리워드 광고 노출 (AdMob)
  • 게임 이용 방식 파악 및 개선·오류 수정 (Firebase Analytics)
  • 인앱 구매 제공 및 복원 (StoreKit)
  • Game Center 이용 시 뱅킹 깊이를 리더보드에 제출 (Apple)
  • 기기 내 진행 상황 저장 (로컬 저장)

위 목적 외에는 정보를 이용하지 않습니다. 개인정보를 판매하거나 공유하지 않으며, 여기 기재한 광고 노출을 제외한 앱 간 추적에는 사용하지 않습니다.

3. 개인정보를 처리하는 제3자

본 앱은 두 사업자에 의존합니다. 해당 정보는 각 사의 개인정보 처리방침에 따라 처리됩니다.

당사는 이용자 개인정보를 저장하는 자체 서버를 운영하지 않으며, 위 처리자 외의 제3자에게 정보를 이전하지 않습니다.

4. 처리의 법적 근거 (EEA / 영국 — GDPR)

GDPR이 적용되는 경우 다음 근거에 따릅니다.

  • 개인화 광고 및 관련 광고 식별자에 대한 이용자 동의(ATT 프롬프트 및 Google 동의 흐름). 동의는 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다(6항 참조).
  • 익명·집계 분석을 통한 앱 이해 및 개선이라는 정당한 이익.
  • 이용자가 요청한 인앱 구매 이행을 위한 처리의 필요성.

5. 보관 기간

  • 기기 내 정보(Vault, 기록, 권한)는 앱을 삭제하거나 데이터를 지우기 전까지 유지됩니다.
  • 분석 이벤트는 Firebase 설정에 정한 기간 동안 Google이 보관한 뒤, Google 데이터 보관 정책에 따라 삭제·집계됩니다.
  • 당사 자체 시스템에는 이용자 정보의 별도 사본을 보관하지 않습니다.

6. 이용자의 선택과 권리

  • 추적(ATT): iOS 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적에서 언제든 켜고 끌 수 있습니다. 끄면 비개인화 광고만 제공됩니다.
  • 광고 식별자 재설정: iOS 설정 > 개인정보 보호 및 보안 > 추적 / Apple 광고.
  • 데이터 삭제: 앱을 삭제하면 기기 내 모든 정보가 제거됩니다. 당사 서버에 이용자를 식별하는 정보를 저장하지 않으므로, 앱 삭제로 당사가 접근할 수 있는 정보가 사라집니다.
  • GDPR 권리(EEA / 영국): 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 제한, 이의 제기, 이동권.
  • CCPA / CPRA 권리(캘리포니아): 열람권, 삭제권, 정정권, "판매"·"공유" 거부권. 당사는 개인정보를 판매하지 않으며, ATT를 통해 동의한 광고 노출을 넘어서는 교차맥락 행동 광고 목적의 공유를 알면서 하지 않습니다.
  • 대한민국(개인정보 보호법): 개인정보 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지 요구권.

권리 행사 또는 문의는 bessl.framework@gmail.com 으로 연락 주십시오. 본 앱은 계정을 보유하지 않으므로, 요청 처리를 위해 해당 기기를 특정해 주시도록 요청드릴 수 있습니다.

7. 아동

Hoardle: The Abyss는 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 일반 이용자용 게임이며, 만 13세 미만(또는 국가별 최소 연령 미만) 아동을 대상으로 하거나 겨냥하지 않습니다. 당사는 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않으며, 광고는 비아동 대상(non-child-directed) 맥락으로 제공됩니다. 아동이 개인정보를 제공했다고 판단되면 연락 주시면 삭제하겠습니다.

8. 방침의 변경

앱의 변화에 따라 본 방침을 갱신할 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경은 새 최종 개정일과 함께 이 페이지에 반영됩니다. 갱신 후 계속 이용하시면 개정된 방침에 동의하는 것으로 봅니다.
